Many of the best QB’s in the league were long-time bench warmers, who were ready after much tutelage to succeed. Could Hill be the next one? Only time will tell. But he certainly seems to be the only hope for 08, as Alex Smith seems as though he may be damaged goods.
And for the record, the color commentary guy talks about the first touchdown and casually says that Hill out-ran the Defensive End. In fact, it was a Defensive BACK. (A bit more impressive in terms of foot speed)
